With Hopes for their Future Generations

Setting their sights with blank looks
Across the emptiness spanning the ocean waters
A people seeking freedom
Imposed against their wishes
By those powerful enough to impede their progress

Wishing for land of the free
With hopes for their future generations
Divine help awaited
