innocent teenager out on his first fling

the 13 given words:
tactics energy alliance attack fire ardor tenderness
capture scheme treachery neglected art war

from a page secured of the tactics of old
innocent teenager out on his first fling
energy at its fullest who sought let it be told
an alliance with a sweet-young-thing

targeting an attack at the trio of beauties
three in his line of fire ensured good balance
the ardor of tenderness a measure of reality
to capture the heart of any one of them

in the scheme of things a treachery, a curse
to be avoided, faithfulness not to be neglected
the art of war one very much to deserve
an affirmation of those who had just started

  2. from a page out of the tactics of old.....great descriptive words here. How those old tactics seemed so new and ones own idea all those years ago. Another good read here, Hank.

  9. Innocence is love war and in love... (but I think I prefer one lost in passion of love)

  12. Somehow she doesn't seem as innocent as the boy. I hope he finds happiness and not heart break at the hands of this girl.

  15. As a teen the choice is so great but the skills so few especially in choosing the right words...but I still would like a second chance now I have studied the dictionary.

  17. I relate to this, Hank. One of our fellow GI's, very young, 18, fell in love with a Juarez prostitute. We took turns and in pairs went over the border with him for his safety. Spent a lot of time in those brothels waiting for him to come back to the post.
Not pretty at all. But for him it was.
